- Independent Catholic secondary college for girls
- Commencement: January 2016
Stella Maris College is an independent Catholic secondary college for girls with a current enrolment of 950 students. The Sisters of the Good Samaritan founded the school in 1931 and it is their charism that is at the heart of the school’s ethos. Being a part of Stella Maris College provides the dual benefit of being an independent school while also being a member of a wider network of 10 Good Samaritan Colleges under the oversight of Good Samaritan Education.
The Deputy Principal’s primary responsibility is to work with and support the Leadership Team to ensure that Stella Maris remains a dynamic learning community in the Benedictine tradition of the Sisters of the Good Samaritan. The College leadership structure provides for one Deputy and so the role gives the new person an opportunity to gain experience and professional development across all aspects of the College.
